Also be able to use the GPS location or have a drop down of an event/city/location that allows you to then come back from a conference and say - who did I meet at Dubai or at this specific location;
Be able to create a QR contact of my own contact - something I can share/add to iOS wallet or export the QR code to be added a printed business card. When someone scans it, they can be prompted to save it to contacts but also add their contact details which automatically saves into Dex.

Import from digital biz card sites

At least in Austin, TONS of people are using QR codes that direct to a "digital business card" page hosted on a service.
Those pages generally contain Name, Phone, Email, Website, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
But we'd have to manually copy / click every single item to get it into our contacts.
Would be AWESOME if we could simply "share link to Dex" on mobile, and have it parse/import all the feelds in 1 go.
Services this could work with:

I would love the ability to forward URL to Dex via the mobile app and have Dex associated with the right contact or scrape the URL and create a contact.
Example of this would be forwarding an Instagram profile. You are out to the Dex mobile app via the Share menu.

Hello! I'm spending time cleaning out our Canny backlog and am closing tickets with new feature requests that don't have so many upvotes. I hope you'll understand!
If you still want this feature, please submit a new ticket so that we can make sure it remains on the backlog.
Thank you again! -Matt

I was at an event this month and exchanged contact information with several sales contacts using QR codes and NFC. Most of them allowed import to my contacts along with other services. Including DEX would speed up importing all of the contacts made at events.
