The graph layout was an wonderful idea, and looks like it could be incredibly useful! However, I think the way nodes are arranged needs looking at, there are lots of overlapping branches obscuring some connections. Maybe penalize lines for touching and prevent nodes from appearing on top of lines?

There are separate feedback requests for a map view and more visual timeline view.

With related contacts done, we'll be starting this in the next few weeks!

Rather than visualize connections, can we visualize interactions? Just a regular timeline with who all we interacted with on what day just show in dots, with a few more stats around how we interacted with them. (messaging/meeting/social etc). I think that someone is in say, interact every 3 months category, but end up interacting with them every 2 weeks. Would be good to see who these people are and move the interaction frequency around my behavior.

This would be immensely helpful in figuring out how you can add value to your network contacts by making introductions. I'm not sure what "connections" or "relationships" would be though.

Daniel Moholia: Our first pass here might be to have a (you) -> connected to -> (groups) -> connected to -> (contacts), + adding in a 'related contacts' feature. Curious if you think something else might also be useful here!

Kevin Sun: That would be interesting to see. Would it resemble an inverted genealogy tree, then, with (you) as the root? The 'related contacts' feature would be useful for batching people who are in different groups as working at the same company/team/project. This might be a little too demanding given it would take some AI programming, but it would be very helpful in the future to have a 'suggested connections' feature where the platform suggests other contacts in your network that you could connect this particular contact to. This would be based on industry, role, etc. and (and this would be the most difficult part) the kind of subject matter discussed with the contact as reflected in the notes.

Kevin Sun: I think the ability to filter based on common interests and other data fields would be extremely useful for making connections.
For the interaction data, it would be cool if there was some numeric value assigned to each interaction and there was a toggle to make the thickness of the line between the connections representative of the number of interactions between people in your network.
here is an example of some of those concepts.
Would also be helpful to have a similar view of the connections between group members or companies (from the data field) aggregated to a view where you could see the interaction and number of people connections between organizations or groups.
