Hi all -- we've launched our first version of contact sync, which allows you to sync into Google Contacts. You can read about this here: https://guide.getdex.com/features/contact-sync

Also, the navigation is bad. If the I go to this screen, there is no way to escape.

Right now I think the Linkedin sync does not work. I couldn't find the latest connections on Dex after sync.

As a thought it would be nice to have a carddav spec api endpoint so this type of sync can be used in more platforms.
Associated RFC (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6352) there are other libraries that implement this spec too.

Regarding contact sync, I'm currently using Contacts+ to keep my Outlook.com, Google, and Microsoft 365 Business address books in sync. I hope that Dex will offer this same functionality.

Please make sure to include Microsoft Outlook. Many professionals use Microsoft Office.

Really excited for this. One thought: I have upwards of 1,000 contacts in my synced address book. I'd rather not keep track of all of them in Dex. So a way to not have to deal with all of them would be nice (e.g., only imports based on some filter / tag, sync everything but you can manually hide / unhide contacts or contact groups, etc.)

Two way updating would be great. Something like Piesync would be a great option. They sync to a lot of sources.
