when I create a custom view i.e. "Friends in Rome" querying the intersection of Friends (category) + who live in Rome (location), i get no results. Of course, I do have friends from Rome. I suspect that this is related to how I do categorize friends, namely, the friends folder contains subfolders only which themselves contain the actual friends. So I suspect custom view do not inquiry subfolders at all. If confirmed, can you refactor it so it does go deeper level?

Could custom events also be included in what is now currently called "Birthdays" in the menu located on the "Contacts" page, maybe call it, something generic or maybe, "Milestones" or "Significant Events" or "Important Dates"?

An option to filter by event type would be excellent for an expanded events section.

I just imported 1700+ contacts from LinkedIn. I need to sort all that into people I know, people I don't know, friends, people I want to network with, etc. It would be great if I cold find all people in 'Imported from LinkedIn' that are not in another group.

Be able to create filters on the description field

Most, but not all of my contacts had birthday's associated with them when I added or imported them. Birthdays are crucial to remember for close contacts, and are a great way to reconnect with people. Since Dex is my single source of truth, I've been trying to manually add any that are missing. Currently this is a very laborious task. It would be made much simpler if there was a birthday option in the filter list. It could be simply "birthday > is defined > false" and then I could scan through and easily add any missing birthdays.
